Further to the Company's announcement dated 18 June 2003, the Board of Directors wishes to clarify that the Company did comply with Rule 715(1) of the SGX Listing Manual as all its Singapore-incorporated subsidiaries were audited by the same accounting firm based in Singapore.

The Company has also complied with Rule 715(2) of the SGX Listing Manual as, in the Board and Audit Committee's opinion, Kieckhafer Schiffer & Company LLP is suitable for appointment as auditors for its significant foreign incorporated subsidiary, Shakey's Incorporated, a Delaware incorporated company.
